Warnings
A
login prompt appears automatically in the following circumstances:
- When the TC receiver is turned on.
- X minutes (the amount of time can be chosen freely) after the
last user has logged off and if the TV receiver is still turned
on.
- When the channel is changed and if no one is logged in. In
addition, up to warnings can be specified by the central computer.
Query
mode
The
“Interview” button makes it possible to conduct written
interviews. It is also possible to answer questions directly on-screen.
On the basis of a previously drawn-up question-naire which provides
a selection of possible responses, participants can choose the
appropriate ones or key the corresponding code into the Telecontrol
device.
Entering
data
The
data and values that are entered using the control box or the
remote control are visible on the front of the Telecontrol device
during the entire viewing session ---or at least until they are
registered and stored . in accordance with the entries made by
the viewers, the Telecontrol device measures how many and which
members of the panel house hold (and which of their guest ) are
viewing the programme that is on.
Monitoring
viewers
Telecontrol offers three system (A,B and
C)for monitoring the viewers with a panel household . Each version
also allows guests to be identified by age and sex. The desired
version can be programmed using the menu function available for
each indiv idual Telecontrol device.

8 Persons (steady members of the panel household and guests divided
proportionately among 8 persons)

B: 16 persons (8 steady members of the panel household
